Al Shamal assistant coach Hisham Zahid spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 17 match against Al Arabi.

“The match will be difficult for both teams, we badly need to win after we lost our last two matches. Al Arabi also lost their last two games, so we both seek win and three points.

“We have prepared the team well in recent days and I hope we will come off this game with a satisfactory result and move away from the relegation zone.

“I thank the club management, which was keen to support the team strongly and support the players in the past days so that the team stays in good shape for the next stage of the league,” said Hisham.

Al Shamal player Nasser Al Nasr said, “The Al Arabi match will not be easy, they have players at a high level.

“A strong game awaits us against a good team and our goal is to achieve a positive result in this match in order to move away from the danger zone.

“Our position in the league table has become difficult after our last loss, but we are determined to achieve a positive result and we hope to succeed this time.”
