Umm Salal coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Rayyan.

“It is certainly an important and strong match, and the two teams' confrontations are always characterized by strength and equality, and we hope that the players will enter with strong focus and implement the objective plan of the match in order to provide a strong performance.

“Al Rayyan is a great team and we respect it strongly, and therefore I ask the players to be careful, strong and focus in order to present a great match and continue the strong performance provided by the team during this period.

“Al Rayyan matches are always full of excitement and rivalry from both teams, and each of us strives to provide the best and win the three points of the match. My team is ready as we have prepared well for the meeting and focused on the psychological, physical and tactical aspects. We are not under pressure and take every game seriously, and we have to try to give our best to win,” said Wesam.

Umm Salal player Moses Orkuma said, “The Al Rayyan match will be strong because each team seeks to win and we have great ambitions, and we have to focus on each match by itself, and we must focus fully on the Al Rayyan match because it is important and we hope to continue victories to progress, especially as the team's performance always rises and we aim to win the Al Rayyan match.
