Al Shamal coach Hicham Jadrane spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Duhail.

“There’s no doubt that this will be a difficult match. It will be like all matches we play in the league. A difficult match awaits us with a big team full of stars with huge potential, but Al Shamal always prepare to appear like a fighting unit.

“Playing well against Al Duhail is a great motivation for us as a rising young team. We will try to achieve a positive result and I have great confidence in my players and their ability to achieve that.
“All league matches are difficult. We always learn from big teams. Al Shamal have always been strong opponents for them, even if we lose. I think we are on the right path but we hope to stay away from individual mistakes that have deprived us of positive results this season. Al Shamal need to stay away from individual errors,” said Hicham.

Al Shamal player Bahaa Faisal said, “We are getting ready for an important match. It will be a very strong challenge for us and certainly difficult against a big and well-known team that includes quality players.

“We hope to deliver a well co-ordinated game and at the same time present a good level of football to get a positive result that shows the potential of Al Shamal’s worth. This is our most important goal in the match. We will do our best on the field in order to get the desired result and we hope by the end of the match that success will be seen against our name.”
