Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 10 match against Umm Salal.

“This is another match to build on our success after achieving a fantastic victory and a great result in the last game. This match will be crucial for maintaining our momentum to secure three points and compete for the top spot in the league standings, a position Al Rayyan deserve.

“Of course, all breaks affect the team’s consistency. We just need to focus on ourselves, maintain our current level and deliver our best performance. We know there are no easy matches in the league; we have had some disappointing results, but we are preparing for this game with the same enthusiasm and focus. And of course, we need more support from our fans.

“I know that sometimes it is difficult to be with the team, but when this kind of enthusiasm is present, you have to be there for the team. For us, especially the players, we need the fans’ support and the feeling of excitement on the pitch. I hope to see them in the stadium to push us to give our best and secure the three points,” said Artur Jorge.

Al Rayyan player Ali Al Qahtani said, “The players are ready to face Umm Salal. It is a tough match against a difficult team. Our preparations were good, the atmosphere was great during training and the coach prepared the team in the best possible way. Our goal is to get the three points.”
