Al Khor coach Jacobo Ramallo spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 4 match against Al Rayyan NextGen.
“After the third round of Jetour League, I believe we have begun to reach a good level of performance stability and we are now better able to control the flow of matches and impose our style of play. However, the most important thing for us is to maintain this level for longer periods during matches.
“We needed some time for all players to achieve the necessary cohesion, especially given the injuries we faced recently. Now, with the squad nearing full strength, I feel we are in a positive phase, something we see daily in training. Our focus is on ourselves and on improving our performance, regardless of the opponent. My message to the players is to keep working with the same approach and to reinforce consistency in our performance,” said Ramallo.
Al Khor player Saif Al Mohannadi said, “Following the important win over Umm Salal, there is a positive atmosphere within the team and great cohesion among all players. The return of injured players is a significant boost for us and we look forward to achieving a positive result against Al Rayyan NextGen in this important match following the break.”
