Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 3 match against Qatar SC.

“We didn't have much time for preparations, but we tried to correct our mistakes because it is very important to achieve a positive result.

“In the match against Al Shamal, the team made a comeback after being down by a goal and we went on to win 2-1 which is a positive and lifts the morale in terms of team's fighting spirit and the players' determination to strive for a win.

“Mohanad is a very influential player who creates many opportunities and puts great pressure on the opponent’s defence. God willing, it is a minor injury,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Faris Khaled said, “A difficult confrontation awaits us with a bigger and organized team, but that does not prevent us from playing to win and collect the three points.

“We came out of the Al Shamal match with what we aimed for, which is to win and collect the three points. But that is past now and we focus on the next difficult game.

“Monday's match will be difficult for the two teams, especially since Qatar SC are coming from a loss and a draw, but that will not prevent Al Sailiya's ambition to achieve a positive result as well.”
