The second edition of Electronic Qatar Stars League (E-QSL) kicked off on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Virtuocity Hall in Doha Festival City mall, with the participation of 12 teams from 2024-2025 Ooredoo Stars League.

The first of the four-day tournament saw Group A teams – Qatar SC, Umm Salal, Al Ahli, Al Arabi, Al Shamal and Al Wakrah – in action.

A total of 15 matches were played.

Al Ahli lost to Al Wakrah 3-12

Al Arabi lost to Al Shamal        3-10

Al Shamal (13 points), Qatar SC (12 points), Al Wakrah (10 points) and Al Arabi (six points) qualified for the quarterfinals that will be held in a double-elimination format, giving players a greater chance of reaching the final.

Umm Salal (fifth with three points) and Al Ahli (sixth with no points) bowed out of the tournament.

Group B matches will be played on Monday, April 28, 2025.
