Al Wakrah were beaten 2-3 by Al Gharafa in their 2025-2026 season QSL Cup Round 9 match on Saturday.

The Blue Waves were two goals up, all from the spot, until the 66th minute before Al Gharafa turned the match on its head to secure victory from the jaws of defeat.

Ali Musaed (45+3 minute penalty) and Ali Yousif (64th minute penalty) scored for Al Wakrah.

Al Gharafa’s goals came through Zaid Faisal (67th minute), Elbaraa Delmi (90+3 minute own goal) and Eissa Waleed (90+6 minute) to raise their points tally to five points, the same as Al Wakrah.
