Al Shamal defeated Al Markhiya 5-0 in Round 5 of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Ahli club on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Al Shamal got their opening goal in the eighth minute through Naim Sliti. They doubled their lead in the 23rd minute as Younes El Hannach scored. Alex Collado added a third in the 45th minute as they went into half-time leading 3-0.

An own goal from Al Markhiya’s Ahmed Ismail (75th minute) added to Al Shamal’s scoreline. Mohammed Omar hit one home in added time (90+1 minute) to make it 5-0 for the winners.

This was Al Shamal’s first win of the tournament and took their tally to five points, while Al Markhiya remained on four points.
