Al Ahli were held to a 2-2 draw by Al Wakrah in their Round 4 (postponed match) of the 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium of Al Gharafa club on Tuesday.
Yassin Ali (52nd minute) and Mohammed Abdulla (88th minute) scored for Al Ahli, while both of Al Wakrah’s goals came from the boot of Raul Gomez in the 17th and 57th minutes.
Al Wakrah were guilty of wasting the opportunity that probably could have given them the win when Gomez missed a penalty in the 80th minute.
Both teams, who are yet to win a game in the competition, now have two points.
