Umm Salal scored a crucial 3-1 win over Al Sailiya in the third round of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Saturday.

It was Al Sailiya who took the lead in the 20th minute through Hadi Ali, before Abdulrahman Fayez equalized for Umm Salal in the 44th minute.

In the second half, Umm Salal imposed their control, with Ahmed Abdulmaqsoud adding a second goal in the 55th minute. Adil Tahif added the third goal in the 75th minute.

The victory, Umm Salal’s second of the tournament, moved them to fourth place in the standings with seven points and behind Al Arabi on goal difference, while Al Sailiya are sixth with six points - suffering their first defeat of the tournament.
