Umm Salal came up with two late goals to dash the hopes of Al Bidda in quarterfinals of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Tuesday.

Antonio Mance (73rd minute) and Cristo Perez (87th minute) were on target for Umm Salal.

Al Bidda’s Swedish goalkeeper Carl Filip Sidklev gave a good account of himself in the game making some very good saves. But soon after he had foiled an Umm Salal attempt with his stretched left leg to a goal-bound kick of Perez, a melee in front of the goal saw Mance seize the chance with his kick finding a defender before going in – something that also deceived Sidklev.

The lead added to Umm Salal’s attack and they soon added another goal, with Perez being provided with a fine cross and he beat the goalkeeper to the top left corner.
