Al Rayyan face Umm Salal in Week 12 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 18:20 at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Tuesday, 4th January, 2022.

Al Rayyan, under Laurent Blanc, had lost 0-1 to Qatar SC in Week 10, but recovered by beating Al Shamal 2-1 in the last round.

Qatar SC are also on 12 points, but they are placed ahead on better goal difference (-3).

Meanwhile, Umm Salal are continuing their good run, having completed a hat-trick of victories. They are placed sixth with 15 points (three wins, six draws and two defeats) and have a goal difference of +3 (16 goals for and 13 against).

The Orange Fortress, coached by Wesam Rizik, beat Al Wakrah 4-1 in Week 9, strong title contenders Al Duhail 2-1 in Week 10 and Al Arabi 2-0 in Week 11.
