Al Duhail face Al Khor in Week 12 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:10 at the Al Arabi Stadium on Tuesday, 4th January, 2022.

Al Duhail, coached by Portuguese Luis Castro, are second in the table with 25 points, three less than reigning champions Al Sadd who have played one game less because their fixture against Al Wakrah got postponed as many Al Wakrah players were infected with coronavirus.

The Red Knights, who had suffered their second defeat (1-2 against Umm Salal in Week 10), got back to the right track by beating Al Ahli 6-0 in the last round.

Al Duhail thus kept pace with leaders Al Sadd in the race for QNB Stars League title.

Al Duhail have a goal difference of +18 (31 goals for and 13 against).

Al Duhail’s other defeat was against Al Wakrah (1-4) in Week 5.

Al Khor, who have Andre Lima at their helm, received a shot in the arm in Week 11 when they beat Qatar SC 2-1 to post their first victory. It also helped them move from rock bottm of the table to 11th spot with seven points.

The Knights have four draws and six defeats too against their name with a goal difference of -17 (nine goals for and 26 against).
