The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held the Technical Meeting for first leg of 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League at The Torch Hotel on Sunday, August 16, 2026. It was attended by QSL officials and representatives of competing clubs.

Attendees included Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions at QSL, Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations at QSL, Mr. Jassim Al Hail, representative of Referees Department of Qatar Football Association, and representatives of Doha Bank Stars League clubs.



 

Mr. Al Adsani welcomed the attendees and club representatives, emphasizing the importance of continued co-operation and co-ordination between QSL, clubs and all relevant parties. He wished everyone success in the upcoming football season.

During the meeting, several topics related to the organizational and administrative aspects of matches were reviewed and discussed. Emphasis was placed on the importance of commitment and co-operation among all parties, including organizers and match officials, to ensure that the competitions are organized according to the highest standards.



 

The instructions and guidelines for matchday procedures were also reviewed, along with the necessity for all parties concerned to adhere to the designated arrival times at the stadiums. Accreditation procedures and the designation of official areas within the stadiums were also discussed.

The meeting also addressed the schedules for arrival and submission of player rosters, as well as the confirmation of the official kits for each team, including the main and reserve kits, in accordance with the established procedures.

For his part, the representative of Referees Department stressed the importance of co-operating with the refereeing teams and adhering to their decisions during matches. This contributes to creating a suitable environment for managing matches and promoting discipline on the field.

The technical meeting comes as part of the preparations of the Qatar Stars League Foundation and the clubs for the start of the new sports season, and QSL’s keenness to enhance co-ordination with all partners and entities, in order to ensure a successful and organized start to 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League.
