As part of preparations for Qatar Cup 2025, Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a technical meeting for the semifinals on Sunday (April 20, 2025) at QSL Headquarters in Al Bidda Tower. The meeting was attended by representatives of QSL – Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions, Mr. Nasser Yaqoub, Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations – Mr. Abdulrahman Abdou, Representative of Referees Department at Qatar Football Association, Captain Saad Al Badr, Representative of Sports Security Department, and representatives of competing clubs (Al Sadd, Al Duhail, Al Gharafa and Al Ahli).

Mr. Al Adsani welcomed the attendees, congratulated the clubs competing in this edition of Qatar Cup, the Prestigious Cup, and wished them success in the competition and a distinguished performance.

A number of topics were discussed, most notably:

- The tournament’s organizational guidelines and procedures, match-day operations and reminders to arrive at the stadium on time.

- Approval of official kits for each team (home and away).

- The representative of Referees Department emphasized need to co-operate with decisions of match referees and adhere to all refereeing decisions.

It may be noted that the semifinals will be played on April 22 and 23, 2025, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club.
