Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Al Khor.
“We have closed the Al Rayyan match chapter, which was just three points in the league journey, and the next game is very important and very difficult for us before the break.
“Al Khor is a difficult team and regardless of their recent results, they have excellent players, especially on the offensive side, players who have high individual skills, such as Fetfa, Kayke, Ismail Al Haddad, Helal Mohammed, and we have to deal with the match very seriously and cautiously. I hope to present a level befitting the Al Arabi club and cap our efforts with three points.
“There is no pressure on the players, our focus is only in the next match against Al Khor, and we always aspire to appear better than the previous match. We always try to urge the players that the next match is the most difficult,” said Younes.
Al Arabi player Rami Suhail said, “All players are fully prepared for the upcoming clash and Al Khor are a great team despite their recent negative results. They want to return to the right path, so we must enter the match with great focus to achieve victory.
“There is no pressure on the team, but we have to continue the good work and victories. Certainly, great challenges await us, but we are ready. We take each match separately and we know the difficulty of the league. Each team seeks three points and, God willing, we will achieve what we are looking forward to.”
