Umm Salal coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Duhail.

“We are facing a really dangerous team and our goal is to achieve the three points, especially since Umm Salal have great potential and greater morale after beating Al Wakrah in the ninth round before the break to achieve our first victory, which will be a motivation to continue the good results that satisfy the ambitions of the team in the league.

“We will maintain our chances of presenting a great match and a satisfactory result. Therefore, the match will be very difficult for both sides.

“Al Duhail are an important match for us, and we know very well that they have distinguished players, be it Qataris or professionals, and we will be up to the responsibility and try to make double efforts against them in order to get a satisfactory result.

Umm Salal player Abdulrahman Abkar said, “The Al Duhail match will be exciting and strong, because each team seeks to win, which motivates us to exert more efforts.

“We have great confidence in ourselves and aspire to get out better this season. We are ready and the team benefited strongly during the break and it was useful, especially since the morale is high after the victory that was achieved in the league against Al Wakrah before the break.”
