16:00 kick-off at Al Wakrah Stadium
Placed second behind points leaders Al Arabi - their rivals on Sunday - Al Sailiyah would be aiming to grab the top spot with a win.
Considering their current form, Al Sailiya would be very confident of getting their second successive win in Ooredoo Cup. Last week, Al Sailiyah scored 8 goals against Qatar SC.
A hat-trick by Fahad Khalfan Al Balooshi was the cornerstone of Al Sailiya’s win. Coached by Sami Trabelsi, Al Sailiya – who have 5 points after four matches – can go past Al Arabi who have 6 points.
Al Sailiyah’s Ramin Rezaeian and Mohammed Muddather could be the main threats for Al Arabi.
On the other hand, Al Arabi can put further distance at the top if they win on Sunday. Another win would mean they jump to 9 points. Al Arabi’s last match was in October when they played a 3-3 draw against Al Gharafa.
Overall, Al Arabi have posted 1 win but picked up a point each in the three draws they have featured in.
