Umm Salal face Al Wakrah in Round 6 (Group A) of the 2021-2022 season Ooredoo Cup at the Al Wakrah Stadium on Monday. The kick-off is at 16:00.

Producing a battling performance, Umm Salal drew with Al Ahli 1-1 and this week they would be eyeing a win against Al Wakrah. Abdulrahman Al Rashidi produced a second-half equaliser to save Umm Salal blushes against Al Ahli.

Abdulrahman Raafat Zaky, Ali Ahmed Al Yazidi and Saoud Farhan will have to be in top form to help Umm Salal, now coached by Wisam Rizq.

Leaders Al Wakrah, on the other hand, will be eyeing another win after their 2-0 victory over Al Ahli.

Al Wakrah have 9 points after four matches and look set to continue playing well.
