Juan Manuel Lillo of Al Sadd has been named as the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League’s Best Coach for the month of April, 2023, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the Qatar Stars League.

Under Lillo, nicknamed Juanma, Al Sadd played three matches (Weeks 18, 19 and 20) and won all of them, netting a maximum nine points. The Wolves are currently placed third in the QNB Stars League table with 41 points, behind leaders Al Duhail and Al Arabi.

It was a great comeback into the tournament by Al Sadd under the tutelage of the Spaniard.

During the period, Al Sadd scored eight goals and conceded only two. They beat Al Wakrah 4-2 (Week 18), Qatar SC 2-0 (Week 19) and Al Rayyan 2-0 (Week 20).
