Al Markhiya defeated Etihad Al Gharafa 3-0 in Week 2 of 2026-2027 season Jetour League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Sunday.

Al Markhiya led 2-0 at half-time after scoring twice in quick succession. Sofyan Cola opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a superb right-footed curler from the edge of the box. Two minutes later, Yusupha Njie reacted sharply to convert the rebound from another Cola effort, making it 2-0.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Al Markhiya continuing to dominate. In the 73rd minute, Omar Morsy turned the ball into his own net while attempting to clear a cross from Cola, extending the lead to 3-0 and putting the result beyond doubt.

The victory maintained Al Markhiya’s perfect start to the season. Meanwhile, Etihad Al Gharafa remained on one point after their opening-round draw against Al Bidda.
