Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of Qatar Stars League (QSL), congratulated Al Sadd on being crowned as the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League champions on Friday, 25th February, 2022, following their match against Al Duhail in Week 20.

He said, “On this occasion, I would like to extend, on my own behalf and on behalf of Team QSL and all of its affiliates, congratulations to the Board of Directors of Al Sadd club, players, technical as well as administrative staff and fans on this well-deserved achievement after displaying strong levels throughout this season’s tournament. In terms of statistics and results, they excelled and proved their worth by winning the shield for the second season in a row.”

Mr. Hani Ballan pointed out that this achievement counts for the club’s management, technical and administrative staff, players and everyone who contributed towards winning the shield for this season, wishing success to Al Sadd and all clubs in the upcoming competitions, be they locally or in the 2022 AFC Champions League.

The QSL CEO also praised the constructive co-operation and continued partnership between QSL and all clubs with the goal of further development of professional football and the league championship in Qatar.
