Al Duhail kept up their winning form as they beat Al Wakrah 3-1 in Week 8 of 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams were locked 1-1 till late in the second half before a defensive error proved costly for Al Wakrah as Al Duhail not only regained lead, but soon added one more to the scoreline.

The goals for Al Duhail came through Krzysztof Piatek (14th minute), Omair Abdulla Al Sayed (own goal, 85th minute) and Oumar Sekou (87th minute), while Al Wakrah’s only goal was scored by Amin Zahzouh (41st minute).

It was Al Duhail’s fourth successive win and took their tally to 18 points, while Al Wakrah remained on 11 points.

Piatek fired in the opener from just inside the box, while Zahzouh made a superb on-the-volley header to a cross from Aissa Laidouni.

Sultan Al Breik’s strike got deflection from a defender’s toe and had the goalkeeper Al Sayed completely beaten, while Sekou cashed in on another defensive lapse to score past a hapless goalkeeper for Al Duhail’s third goal.
