Giovani Henrique bagged a brace as Al Sadd began their new dispensation under coach Roberto Mancini with a convincing 3-1 win over Al Sailiya at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Week 10 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League on Saturday.

Giovani, who disappointedly got the red card in the 64th minute for violent conduct, got his goals on either sides of the halves (18th and 55th minutes), while Akram Afif netted one in between (48th minute) as Al Sadd advanced to 17 points in the standings.

Al Sailiya, who remained on seven points, got their only goal of the superbly-entertaining encounter through Adam Ounas in the 50th minute.

The morale-boosting victory ensured a sustained momentum for The Wolves, who had been in hot form of late, having scripted the highest goal-margin victory of the season (8-3) over Umm Salal in the last fixture.
