Al Gharafa beat Umm Salal 4-2 in a six-goal thriller in their Week 1 match of the 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Bayt Stadium on Friday.

The Cheetahs roared back in the second half with goals from Senagalese Seydou Sano, Spanish star Joselu, Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson, who shot home superbly to break the deadlock at 2-2, and Ahmed Al Janahi, who also struck from the top of the box.
