Al Shamal face Al Arabi in Week 4 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 19:30 at the Al Thumama Stadium on Wednesday, 24th August, 2022.

It will be a crucial meeting between two teams that have made a robust start to their new season. Both sides will battle hard to outdo the other, aiming to strengthen their position in the top rung. As such, a solid and exciting contest is on cards.

Al Arabi are currently second in the standings with nine points, one point behind Al Wakrah on 10. Al Arabi have won all three of their matches -- against Qatar SC, Al Rayyan and Al Markhiya. 'The Dream Team' Al Arabi will therefore aim to keep up their winning run and regain the top spot with a win and three points.

Al Arabi will be relying on their attacking power, led by the duo of Tunisian Yousef Msakni and Syrian Omar Al Somah.

Younes Ali, coach of Al Arabi, is also awaiting the return of his defender, Mohamed Bader Sayyar, who was expelled in the game against Al Rayyan. Sayyar will help tighten the team's defence.

Al Shamal, meanwhile, have notched up two wins but suffered one loss and are placed fourth with six points. A win would not only pitchfork the side further up the table but will also add to their confidence all the more.

Al Shamal beat Al Rayyan and went down to Al Sailiya before claiming a creditable win over Al Gharafa in the last round. Expect Al Shamal to battle it hard against Al Arabi for a positive result.
