Al Shamal face Al Gharafa in Round 2, Group B of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Monday, 26th September, 2022. The kick-off is at 20:00 at the Al Gharafa Stadium.

Al Markhiya, Al Rayyan, Al Duhail and Al Arabi are the other teams in Group B.

Group A consists of Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Ahli, Qatar SC and Al Sailiya.

The match will be important for both teams as they strive to do their best to win and thus advance in the group standings.

Al Shamal had lost 0-1 to Al Arabi (Rami Suhail scored the winner), while Al Gharafa defeated Al Rayyan by a 4-3 margin in Round 1 in a keenly-fought encounter.

The match will be a great opportunity to collect points as Al Gharafa, placed second in the group, seek their second victory and Al Shamal, placed in fifth position, target their first points.

Meanwhile, Al Shamal are sixth in the QNB Stars League with 10 points and Al Gharafa fourth with 12 points after seven weeks of action.
