Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 14 match against Al Sailiya.
“The team played a good match against Al Duhail and despite the result, the fighting spirit in which the players appeared and the desire to return with the result was a positive spirit and I hope it will continue in the upcoming matches.
“A difficult match awaits us against Al Sailiya, as it is a team that is fighting to get away from the relegation zone, and this is something that makes the task difficult for any team.
“Al Sailiya have distinguished players and a coach with great experience in the league, but I have confidence in the players to play a great match and get three points.
“There is certainly pressure and it is difficult to play more than one match with one professional, but I am happy with what the players have done in the recent period, and our next task is to find solutions on the field.
“The absences greatly affected the team's results and the position,” said Younes.
Al Arabi player Ramy Suhail said, “Our task against Al Sailiya is not easy and we are ready for all challenges. I hope to present an honourable performance and win with respect to the opposing team.
“Our spirits are high and we are ready to make up for the points that were wasted in the past.”
