The Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar Sports Club will host the final of 2024-2025 season QSL Cup between Al Duhail and Al Arabi on Friday, December 20, 2024. The kick-off is at 5.30pm.

The match is sure to witness great excitement and a strong challenge between both teams, given the distinguished levels presented by them throughout the tournament. It is expected that both coaches will push their players to go all out in bid to clinch the title.

Al Duhail qualified for the final by beating Al Wakrah 3-1 in the semifinal in a match that went into extra time after regular time ended in a 1-1 draw, while Al Arabi qualified for the final by defeating Umm Salal 2-1 in the other semifinal.

Al Duhail made it to the semifinals after beating Al Khor 2-1 in the quarterfinals. They had qualified for the Round of 8 by topping Group A with 10 points.

Al Arabi advanced to the semifinals by getting the better of Al Shamal 3-0 in the quarterfinals, having finished second in Group A with 10 points on goal difference with Al Duhail, who also had the same number of points.

Both sides had faced off in the fourth round at the Al Khor Stadium and Al Arabi beat Al Duhail by a 1-0 margin, with Rodrigo Sanchez netting the winner. Al Duhail will be keen to make up for that and win the first title of the season.

Meanwhile, Al Arabi will be eager to compensate for their loss in the final of last edition of the tournament when they were beaten 3-1 by Umm Salal in penalty shoot-out.

Both Al Duhail and Al Arabi have players of great calibre in all departments of the game and that makes for a thrilling contest.
