QSL side El Jaish has confirmed that Khalid Muftah is unlikely to take part in his sides round 11 match against Muaither.

The defender pulled his hamstring in his sides 2-1 defeat to bitter rivals Lekhwiya and will have to be assessed by the Jaish medical team before a decision is made. With El Jaish playing in just five days’ time, it will be unlikely that Muftah will be available for the game.

Muftah joins an ever growing injury list at El Jaish, with a host of key players including Seydou Keita, Khalid Abdulraouf and Dame Traoré all out for Sabri Lamouchi’s side.
