QSL side Muaither is sweating on the fitness of midfielders Mohammed Al Zowayed and Mohammed Yasser ahead of the Stallions round seven match with Al Khor.
Both players picked up their respective injuries in Muaither’s last two games. Al Zowayed was injured in Muaither’s 2-1 victory over Al Arabi in round six, whilst vetran midfielder Yasser strained his calf during a friendly match up against Saudi Arabian side Al Fattah over the international break.
The duo will now be prepared by the Muaither coaching staff over the week ahead of the Thursday evening match. Head coach Phillipe Birol will be hoping that his side can register their third straight victory of the season against a high-flying Al Khor side. Muaither are currently eleventh in the QSL standings, and have six points from seven QSL games.
