The team training sessions continue under the leadership of the head coach Philip Birol with the participation of all players except for three injured players Mohamed Attiya, Mohamed Zuwaid and Hussein Shehab.
Giving his thoughts about the upcoming game as well as the status of his team ahead of the final 4 rounds of the QSL, Mubarak Al Ghanem, Head of Football at Muiather, spoke to the QSL and said, “We won’t give up or surrender as we will keep on fighting till the very last minute in the league.
We still have hope to survive despite the difficulties we are facing, however we are not the only team with difficulties. No one knows which teams will get relegated to the Qatar Gas League, also it is not clear which team will win the QSL title or the top four teams. We have to do our best into all the remaining games.”
Muaither is in the 13th position with 16 points as they lost their previous round fixture to Umm Salal by one goal.
The Head of Football pointed out that the coming match versus El Jaish will be very tough due to the fact that the opponents are strong and have quality players. He concluded, “We hope to present good performance and gain a positive result.”
