Ahead of our featured match between Al Khor and Qatar Sports this Round, QSL Online managed to get Kings Midfielder Mohamed Omar to give us his thoughts on who he thinks his team will do as well as his assessment of the opposition Al Khor Sports Club.

The midfielder said that their match versus Al Khor would be very tough, taking into consideration that both teams are desperately seeking to improve their position in the table.
“Al Khor is a very stubborn team with some good players; I hope that luck will be on our side this on day.”

On his team preparations for the clash
“We are preparing just like any other game, I expect the match to be a tough due to the position of both teams in the league. We will be playing to gain three points and our team is capable of gaining another victory after the recent win over Mesaimeer in Round 7.”

On the new Head Coach at Qatar Sports Club
“Lazaroni is an experienced coach with a big name. I believe that his influence on the team will be shown during the coming few weeks. He is well aware of the team and of Qatari football which will help him a lot. I wish him all the best during the coming period.”

On the team’s negative results this season
“I think there are lots of reasons, such as bad luck and injuries. We have played some good games especially versus Al Sadd and Lekhwiya but we didn’t take advantage of the goal-scoring opportunities we had.”
