Al Sadd reserves lost to Mesaimeer 3-0 in a friendly match which was played at Al Sadd’s training facility on Saturday. The match was held as part of preparations for Round 9 of the QSL.<br />

The match saw the participation of some members of the first team, in addition to reserve and youth team players.<br />
<br />
Nadir Belhadj and Khalfan Ibrahim Khalfan took part in order to improve their fitness for the upcoming matches. <br />
<br />
Internationals who are away with the senior and Olympic national teams were absent. Four players from the first team - Xavi, Talal al Baloushi, Muriqui and Lee Jung Soo  also missed out on the match.<br />

Mesaimeer opened the scoring in the first half when Al-Haj Mohammed scored in the 33rd minute. They added two more in the second half through Da Silva (65th and 84th).<br />

Hussain Behzad, Ghassan Waheed, Saoud Ibrahim and Mousa Mohammed entered in the second half.
