Al Gharafa will welcome the league leaders Al Sadd to the Thani Bin Jassim this Sunday at 18:30.

Al Sadd as yet, remain unbeaten and under head coach Amotta the Wolves look a dominant and quality outfit this season.

Playing without a striker has not hindered Al Sadd who has deployed the mercurial Haydoos in the number 9 position.  Sadd are on 26 points whilst the Cheetahs currently lie in third place with 20 points.

Gharafa will miss the services of Bilal Mohammed but the Wolves too will be without their playmaker and all-time Wolves goal scorer Khalfan Ibrahim Khalfan (Knee injury).

Al Gharafa who have just had a transfer ban lifted will have to try to keep Al Sadd's one touch passing game to a minimum and try to keep possession if they hope to profit from this high quality encounter.

Paqueta’s has managed to change the mentality at the club and made his team hard to beat but this will be their sternest test yet.

The form book shows that Al Sadd has won 8 drawn 2 and lost none whilst the home side – Gharafa has won 6 drawn 2 and lost 2.

With Khalfan out of the game, the main threat for the Wolves will come through Tabata and Haydoos and for the Cheetahs, Lissandro Lopez and Nene will be the main focus of attack.

However the home side will be up against the team who has scored the most goals in the league this season with 25 goals to their credit and just 9 conceded!

Gharafa has a goal difference of just +3 so their main problem will be whether they can actually get the ball in the net this weekend but if they do, then the Cheetahs are experts in keeping a one goal lead.

So grab your scarfs and head down to the Jassim Bin Hamad for one of the stand out games of the season in the Qatar Stars League.
