QSL side Al Arabi has announced that young midfielder Abdullah Marafee will be out of action for six weeks following successful surgery on his ankle.
The Qatari midfielder underwent the operation at ASPETAR hospital on Monday evening, and was joined by team mates and club officials wishing him well on his recovery.
In other news, Al Arabi continued their training preparations ahead of their QSL match of the week against Lekhwiya.
The training session also saw an individual training session for defender Vivien Assie Koua, who is recovering from a calf complaint. The former Al Kharitiyat defender could be in line for a starting place in the side providing he can recover in time for the Friday evening match.
