Speaking at his unveiling to the local media on Sunday evening, Maqsoud expressed his joy at joining the Dream Team; “I would like to thank the administration at Lekhwiya for their help in completing this deal. I am looking forward to playing for Al Arabi this season and repay the faith that the management have in signing me.”
The signing of Maqsoud is the fifth high profile local signing for Al Arabi this transfer window following the signings of Mohammed Jumma, Rami Fayez, Wagner Ribero and Talal Al Bloushi. The tough tackling midfieler could be in line for his Al Arabi debut on Thursday evening when his new side will entertain El Jaish in the QSL match of the week for round 2.
