Al Kharaitiyat’s Head of Football - Mansour Moussa assured the media that goalkeeper Khalifa Abu Bakr as well as defender Vivien Quacy have received offers from other clubs, but Al-Kharaitiyat is doing its doing everything it can to hang on to the players.

Mansour Moussa said, “There are some clubs asking for both players, however the club has contracts with both of them and so they are currently with us.”

Mansour Moussa added that some clubs asked verbally about Khalifa and Vivien but nothing official was sent. He said: “If we receive official offers then the matter goes directly to the Club’s Board.”

Mansour also mentioned the fact that they had settled on their four foreign players for next season, they are, the Burkina Faso forward Yahia Kibbe, Brazilian Dominguez, Jordanian striker Hassan Abdel Fattah and the Moroccan - Anwar Diba.

Mansour then spoke about local player selection for next season, “Yes we need one or two players as we are working on to finalize this matter. He also stressed that the Club is still awaiting the response of Al Sadd with regards to renewing the loan agreement of player Abdel Aziz Al-Ansari.”

Mansour concluded by saying that contracts for both Mohamed Yasser and Mohamed Abdel Rab were now renewed, whilst the loaning of Mahmoud Saad from El Jaish was for another year. 

 The Thunders will start their overseas training camp on the 11th of August in Slovenia for 3 weeks.
