Lekhwiya started its mission on Monday evening as the squad left for the Saudi capital, Riyadh. This match will be the last game of the group stages and victory in Saudi Arabia would see the Red Knights sitting pretty at the top of group A.  The match is set to kick-off at 19:05 in the King Fahd International Stadium today.

Lekhwiya has 10 points, followed by Iranian side Persepolis with 9 points, then Al Nasser are close behind on 8 points, and finally Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan have a solitary point in last place.

Once the team arrived in the Saudi capital, all the players took part in a light training session ahead of Wednesday’s game at the King Fahd International Stadium.
