Lekhwiya Football Team have resumed training sessions after rest granted to the players over the weekend following the reserves sides match agasint Al-Sailiyah.

Lekhwiya are now preparing for the resumption of the Qatar Stars League on Saturday, when they face Al Shahania in round 24. A win for the Red Knights will assure the Qatar Stars League championship for a second consecutive season.

The evening training session witnessed the participation of both professional players the Tunisian Youssef Mesakny and Spanish defender Chico Flores after an extended period of rest was granted to both of them.  

Seven players who joined up with the Qatar national team two victories against Algeria & Slovenia missed the training session. Whilst professional players Vladimir Weiss & Nam Tae Hee are set to join the squad later in the week after representing Slovakia & South Korea respectively.
