Defending Champions Lekhwiya resumed their training sessions yesterday evening at the club’s training fields after being granted three-days of rest following their loss to Umm Salal in Round 8 of the Qatar Stars League.<br />

The training session witnessed the absence of seven players who have joined the Qatar National Team.<br />
<br />
They are as follows:<br />

Claude Amine, Khaled Muftah, Mohamed Tresore, Mohamed Moussa, Karim Boudiaf, Ismail Mohamed and Mohamed Muntari.<br />
<br />
The clubs four foreign players are also away with their respective squads. Tunisian Youssef Msakni, the Slovakian Vladimir Weiss and the South Korean Nam Tae Hee are all currently away.<br />

The technical staff led by Head Coach Djamel Belmadi focused on physical training to raise the players’ fitness levels which was then followed by some drills with the ball.<br />

Lekhwiya will play Al Khor in Round 9 of the Qatar Stars League on Sunday the 22<sup>nd</sup> of Nov 2015 in Qatar Sports Club Stadium.<br />

Lekhwiya is currently in 8<sup>th</sup> position in the league table with just 10 points from three wins; they have four defeats and one draw.
