Lekhwiya and Umm Salal are to prepare for round 11 of the Qatar Stars League by playing a friendly against each other on the 23^rd of this month in order to assess fitness and improve technical aspects of their game.

A number of Lekhwiya’s players will miss the match as they are away on national duty in the 2014 Gulf Cup of Nations tournament in Saudi Arabia. 

Also the Red Knights will be without the services of the foreign players, Weiss, Youssef Msakni and Nam Tai –Hee have also joined their respective national teams.

Umm Salal’s defensive midfielder Ahmed Fathi has also joined his teammate in Egypt as they take on Senegal.
