Lekhwiya are going to leave for Austria to have their foreign training camp on 13 July and will continue until 30 July. The camp is in preparation for 2016/2017 season, according to the announcement by the club.
 
During their stay in Austria the team will play several friendlies which will be determined in the coming days.
 
Lekhwiya will begin training in Doha on 10 July, where the team will go through physical and technical training. Pre-selection will take place for the final list of players who will join the foreign camp.
 
The team finished in fourth place in the 2015/2016 Qatar Stars League season with 44 points, while they succeeded in winning the Emir Cup for the first time in their history after beating Al Sadd in the final.
 
Lekhwiya played their last game of the season against fellow QSL side El Jaish in the second leg of the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League. Lekhwiya won the match 4-2, but they exited the tournament as they lost 6-4 on aggregate
