Current Qatar Stars League champions Lekhwiya have travelled to Turkey to begin their preseason training camp. The team arrived in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Saturday evening, after a three hour trip from Doha. 

The team is set to start double training sessions under new head coach Djamel Belmadi. Squad members in the traveling party included Youssef Msakni, Chico Flores & new signing Mohammed Muntari. 

Lekhwiya will face three friendly matches at their Turkish training camp before heading to Spain on the 8th of August. The side are set to face La Liga side Malaga in a prestigue for the the 31st Costa Del Sol cup
