QSL Champions Al Rayyan has moved quickly to replace Jorge Fossati announcing the signing of former Lekhwiya head coach Michael Laudrup.<br />

The Lions made the announcement via social media, and the former Danish international is expected to arrive in Doha in the next few hours to formally sign a contract with the club.<br />
Laudrup is no stranger to the Qatar Stars League having lead Lekhwiya to a league and cup double in his only season in charge. Whilst in the AFC Champions League he took the Red Knights to the quarter finals.<br />

With Al Rayyan returning to the Champions League for this season, Laudrup’s experience with Lekhiwya was seen as vital by the Al Rayyan hierarchy.
