Muaither midfielder Adel Lami has successfully undergone cruciate ligament surgery on Tuesday at ASPETAR hospital. The veteran midfielder was joined by team mates and Muaither club officials to wish him well.

Lami will now undergo the long road to recovery, and is set for at least six months rehab. Despite the loss of Lami, Muaither picked up their first three points of the season against Al Wakrah in round five. The Stallions are set to take on Al Arabi in the sixth round of QSL this evening.
