QSL side Al Khairitiyat will be without two key players in their quest to beat relegation. Al Kharitiyat’s medical team confirmed that star striker Hassan Abdel Al Fattah will be absent for at least two weeks after picking up a calf injury in the 1-1 draw with Al Gharafa. The Jordanian striker will miss national team duty to focus on getting back to full fitness.

Whlilst Ivorian defender Assie Koua Vivien pulled his groin against Gharafa and the Al Kharitiyat medical team has announced that he will be unavailable for a month, effectively ending his domestic season. This will be seen as a major blow for Amir Osim’s side, as Vivien has been a mainstay at center back for Kharitiyat.

Al Kharitiyat will now be hoping that Fattah can be fit ahead of their must win relegation clash against Al Wakrah in round 25. The Thunders are currently in thirteenth in the QSL standings, just one point ahead of the dreaded drop zone.
