QSL side Al Sadd has confirmed that midfielder Khalfan Ibrahim has retuned back to training with the side. The Qatar international has been sidelined for a number of weeks with a heel complaint, however now he has been cleared to train by the Sadd medical team.
In other news, the Al Sadd squad without their international players resumed training on Tuesday evening under the watchful eye of Portuguese head coach Jesaldo Ferriera. The club has also not confirmed if the squad is to take on any friendly matches in the three week break in QSL action due to World Cup Qualifiers.
Al Sadd is set for a tough away match in round three when they face Lekhwiya in a top of the table clash on Sunday the 16th of October.
