El Jaish summer signing Seydou Keita continued individual training as the former Malian international gets back to full fitness ahead of Jaish’s third round QSL clash against Al Khor on Thursday evening.
Keita came off early last time out against Al Arabi in round two, and the El Jaish medical staff has used the international break to slowly nurse the midfielder back to full fitness.
The former FC Barcelona midfielder is considered one of the key players in the Jaish setup and will be needed at full fitness for the upcoming QSL games. El Jaish are currently two wins from two in the QSL, and will be eager to build on their solid start to the season.
In other news, the El Jaish squad trained ahead of their rearranged Thursday evening match against Al Khor. Noticeable absentees in Sabri Lamouchi’s side included winger Sardor Rashidov and Magid Mohammed who are representing Uzbekistan and Qatar in World Cup Qualifiers.
